Joy Walraven, D. Ac, D.HM, D.TCM

Joy decided to pursue her long-standing passion for natural health and healing in 2001, and enrolled in the acupuncture program at the Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine (ITCM) in Toronto. She finished at the top of her class in 2004, and promptly began her acupuncture internship with the Ontario Association of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (OAATCM).

Committed to deepening her understanding of Chinese Medicine, Joy also continued her studies at the ITCM in the herbal medicine program during this time.

Joy has been building a successful private practice since 2005. She has been inspired to develop an approach to medicine that is focused on helping each patient understand their condition within the context of their entire system.
